Chiswick
BOLD SCULPTURES
This award winning Chiswick project was completed in collaboration with PL Projects. A statement piece set on one of Sydney’s stunning waterways, the high-level detailing and finishes found throughout this home demanded an equally sophisticated landscape design.
When it came to choosing materials for this garden, concrete and steel – both chosen for their durability – were used inside and out.
Following a similar thought process when selecting the landscape’s plants, a diverse combination of hardy Australian natives, exotic succulents, and cacti provides striking colour, texture, and form contrast. This collection of unique and rare plant species bridge form and function, playfully bouncing off the home’s bold architecture while also offering high drought tolerance for a water conscious homeowner.

Large window openings frame views outward from the house, capturing a relaxing garden and waterfront scene. This effortless connection between inside living spaces and the surrounding natural environment saw Outdoor Establishments awarded Gold for Planting Design by the Australian Institute of Landscape Designers and Managers at the National Design Awards 2020 – something we are beyond proud to have received.
We acknowledge the Wangal people, the traditional custodians of the land and waters on which this landscape sits.
