Cronulla
LUSH LIVING
The owners of this Cronulla family home had a specific vision for their expansive landscape project – to create an immersive tropical holiday feel in their very own backyard.
The scope of works included a swimming pool and spa, multiple entertaining and play spaces, outdoor kitchen and dining area, and a sub-tropical garden that provides shade and privacy from the outside world.
To ensure a subtle balance and close knit connection throughout the garden and entertaining spaces, materials were kept simple, bright and clean.
This included porcelain tiles and composite timbers to achieve lower maintenance requirements, white insitu-concrete for the outdoor kitchen and island bench, and white pool tile selected to create the illusion of a complimentary pale blue pool.

The generous garden spaces provided the perfect opportunity for layering of subtropical plant species amongst existing Frangipanis and Kentia Palms. And as a focal point, a Pandanus Palm was transported down from the Sunshine Coast and placed considerately at the rear of the garden. With this marriage of old and new we were able to honour the existing, much loved space, while at the same time, establishing a new path forward for this young, active family.
