LITTLE MANLY GARDENS
This collaborative project between CHROFI, Graybuilt, and our clients resulted in a three-year endeavor, spanning from initial concept design and council approvals to construction. Nestled adjacent to Little Manly Beach and positioned at the foot of Manly's Eastern Hill, this new build represents a harmonious blend of architectural excellence and natural beauty.
Given the intricate site conditions, which encompassed challenging topography, water flow management, ecological sensitivity, and existing stormwater and sewer infrastructure, utmost care and consideration were given to the design of the swimming pool and other landscape elements, ensuring their seamless integration.
The main living area of the residence comprises a collection of interconnected spaces, both for living and work purposes, and an outdoor living room that merges with the surrounding gardens.

To enhance the ambiance within the home, the existing trees at the rear of the property were added to, creating a lush and private landscaped backdrop. A carefully curated planting palette, featuring subtropical and coastal elements, was crafted to complement the site's unique location and perfectly align with the desired aesthetic preferences of both the clients and architects.
We acknowledge the Guringai people, the traditional custodians of the land and waters on which this landscape sits.
