OCEAN RETREAT
We acknowledges the Darug People. The traditional custodians of the land and waters of which this landscape sits.
This acreage project in Kenthurst gave us the opportunity to apply high-level detailing on a large scale. The design considered the sites location on the fringe of the Sydney bush, informing materially.As such, Sydney sandstone and recycled Australian hardwood featuring heavily throughout.
Concrete and steel were used inside and out, favoured for their durability. This same approach was taken when selecting the planting palette. Diverse combinations of Australian natives and exotic succulents and cacti provide strong contrast in colour, texture and form. With unique and rare plant species selected to compliment the bold architecture. All while achieving a water-wise garden.
