MALLERAY GARDENS
Working alongside Trend Living, our aim for this Mosman garden was to create an open and flexible space that complemented the existing Federation home. The garden retains a traditional richness, responding to the surrounding grounds, seamlessly blending into contemporary features.
Towering, curved sandstone walls address multiple level changes to create elevated viewing platforms from which to take in and enjoy the wider garden landscape. Manicured lawns offer plenty of room for kids to play, while established boundary planting offers an unparalleled feeling of privacy and seclusion. Fitting form with function, an eclectic mix of polished concrete, recycled brick, detailed carpentry and eye-catching sandstone paving and walling make up the core build materials.

With the ample site offering a large amount of green potential, mature olive trees were craned on-site and set into the paving as a gorgeous centrepiece. Established Lilly Pilly hedges were also craned into place for continued privacy around the property boundary. With all of these considered touches, this once, quaint cottage on the Lower North Shore of Sydney has been transformed into a stunning family home.
We acknowledge the Cammeraygal people, the traditional custodians of the land and waters on which this landscape sits.
