PAPERBARK GARDEN
We acknowledge the Gadi people, the traditional custodians of the land and waters on which this landscape sits.
This garden and swimming pool renovation in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney was designed & built with the focus of accommodating the needs of a young family. Establishing privacy from the neighbouring apartment buildings and a durable material palette were crucial to the success of the design, as was the addition of a spill-out entertaining area linking the indoors to the outdoors.
Granite tiles and cobblestones were selected for the driveway, outdoor flooring and the swimming pool coping. Galvanised steel, off-form concrete, glass and both spotted gum & cedar timbers were included to further build upon the materials used within the home, creating uniformity between the house and garden.
