Redfern Warehouse
ADAPTIVE REUSE
We acknowledge the Gadi people, the traditional custodians of the land and waters on which this landscape sits.
This award-winning warehouse conversion in the inner-Sydney suburb of Redfern was a collaboration with Ian Moore Architects and Elliott Projects.
The brief provided the opportunity to complete the gardens in the internal atrium, swimming pool and upper terrace, allowing for the exploration of some unique micro-climatic conditions. Custom planters were fabricated to match the high-level finishes seen throughout the home. A real lawn was installed on what once had been the second internal level of the warehouse.

The planting palette was selected working closely with the client who is an avid gardener. An advanced Queensland Fan Palm was sourced and transported from Townsville to be used as the centrepiece beside the swimming pool.
